Louis
Tirado: Louis began dancing in 1996
when he took 3 months worth of lessons from Rosa Collantes at DanceSport. He
then moved on to study with NY Mambo Instructors Jimmy Anton and Carlos Koenig.
Soon after, Carlos took him under his wings and he found himself performing as a
member of the Carlos Koenig Dancers. The Addie-tude Dance Company is Louis's
second dance group. He currently teaches a mambo class in NYC (click
here for his SalsaNewYork Instructor Review), as well as
privates and has recently come back from Miami where he taught a NY Style Mambo
workshop to a group of a 150 local dancers. In the past he has been the winner
of one of the "Sabado Gigante" dance contests in Miami as well as one
of the top finishers of the Daily News Largest Mambo contest three years in a
row.
