Introduction
This past August New York Mambo dancer & Instructor Addie Diaz attended Delille Thomas Summer Mambo Bash. To her surprise, after Delille and his partner Glenda gave an awesome dance performance, Delille grabbed the microphone and not only announced that Addie and I had gotten engaged, but that it was also Addie's Birthday. As many of you well know it is a Salsa dance tradition for the birthday person to hit the dance floor and share one song with all those who want to dance with them (him or her). Just in case your not familiar with the NY dance scene, Delille Thomas is a well known, respected, highly talented and very humble NY Mambo Instructor. He gives a series of periodic Seasonal Social Dances throughout the year (Summer, Spring, Winter, Fall). His Socials dances, along with Jimmy Anton's bi-monthly Latin Sunday social are the top two social events in the NYC area. They come highly recommend by both Salsaweb NY, SalsaNewYork.com & JustSalsa.com. You'll usually find several top NY Salseros attending these dances. Thanks to my internet partner, Mr. Fernando Lamadrid of JustSalsa.com, several of these moments were captured on film. Fernando was kind enough to allow me to take some excerpts from his page and re-publish them on Salsaweb. Thanks Fernando for being there to capture the moment, and thanks Delille for making it such a special night for Addie. - Manny Siverio

A very touching moment of the evening was the announcement of the engagement of Addie Diaz and SalsaWeb.com's, New York correspondent Manny Siverio . Shortly after the announcement Addie Diaz, the creator and living incarnation of "Addie-Tude" took on the bravest of New York's Mambo dancers (including Manny). She has the finest women's Mambo styling on the New York dance circuit and to use an old "Palladium" term nobody can "cut" her on the dance floor. Unfortunately photographs will never do her "moves" and "interjections" justice.

Addie Diaz just keeps on dancing with NJ Mambo Instructor Greg Talyor. Cliford Jasmin (kneeling in background) pays homage after taking his turn with Addie on the floor. Cliford is the best "Puerto Rican Style" "On 2" dancer in Paris France. His telephone number in Paris is 331 42 54 42 31. His cell phone number is 336 03 81 06 00. He teaches an "On 2" classes at Casa 128 on the rue Lafayette in Paris on Thursdays. The beginers class is at 9 PM and the intermediate clas is at 10 PM.  (photo27)
